The uranium reserves of the Elkon uranium ore region (Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)) will last for more than 100 years. First Deputy General Director of JSC Atomredmetzoloto (ARMZ, mining division of Rosatom), Executive Director of ARMZ Viktor Svyatetsky told TASS. “The uranium reserves at the Elkon deposit have been explored and put on the state balance sheet. With a productivity of 2 thousand tons per year, these reserves will last for more than 100 years,” said Svyatetsky.
