The mine-2026 – The 11st International Mining Technology Exhibition will be held in Yekaterinburg

From October 27 to October 29, 2026, the 11th international exhibition “The Mine”, one of the largest mining industry events in Russia, will be held at the Yekaterinburg-EXPO IEC. The event will bring together modern manufacturers of equipment, special equipment, IT solutions and services for mining, processing and transportation of minerals.

The organizers are the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Sverdlovsk region and NP “Mining Industry Workers of Russia”. The project is supported by key industry associations and scientific institutes.

In recent years, the exhibition has shown steady growth — up to +50% every year. In 2025, more than 300 exhibitors took part in the Mine, and the number of visitors exceeded 5,500 specialists from 5 countries and 95 cities.

The survey of participants showed:

• 65% book their stands for the next year already during the exhibition;

• 78% conclude deals or enter into negotiations with new clients;

• 98% consider participation to be effective.

The exhibition covers the entire mining production cycle:

• Geological exploration and mining preparatory work;

• Open and underground mining operations;

• mineral processing;

• Transportation and logistics;

• Automation and IT technologies in mining;

• spare parts, accessories and consumables;

• Laboratory equipment and measuring instruments;

• Industrial safety, ecology;

• NEW! special section “Oil and gas production”.

Among the visitors are heads of companies (21%), heads of departments (38%), chief specialists (26%) and specialized specialists (15%). The main interest is caused by:

• Open-pit mining (45%);

• spare parts and accessories (38%);

• Geology and exploration (29%);

• Automation and IT (28%);

• Underground work (28%);

• enrichment (24%).

The delegations include key industry players: Uralkali, Severstal, EVRAZ, ALROSA, Norilsk Nickel, Polymetal, Belaruskali and others.

Why Yekaterinburg?
The Sverdlovsk Region is a strategic center of the Russian mining industry. The headquarters of the largest holdings, unique deposits of gold, platinum, bauxite, asbestos, nickel, iron, manganese, chromium and copper are located here. As A.V. Dushin, president of the Mining Association of the Urals, notes: “The Sverdlovsk Region is actually part of the management of the entire mining industry of the country.”
