November 7, 2024. Polymetal Day was held at Pacific National University. More than 300 people came to the meeting with representatives of the gold mining company – students of specialized fields from Pacific National University, as well as students of the Polytechnic Lyceum and several technical schools of Khabarovsk. They were told about the Polymetal company in general, as well as about working conditions, internship opportunities and further employment prospects. This was reported by the company’s press service.
Polymetal is one of the industrial partners of the country’s leading universities, including Pacific National University. Students annually undergo industrial internships at Polymetal enterprises in the Khabarovsk Territory. For its part, the company offers comfortable living conditions in shift camps, travel expenses to and from the place of practice, wages at the level of full-time specialists, the opportunity for professional and personal growth, and guaranteed employment after graduation. Cooperation with students begins in the second or third year. This allows students to obtain additional specialties within the framework of corporate training programs and projects.
Olga Savchenko, Head of the Personnel Training Organization Department at Polymetal, spoke about the prospects for improving their knowledge. The specialist noted that the company has opened a mobile platform – the Corporate University, where not only current employees, but also students planning to join the gold team can take special training courses or improve their flexible and digital skills.
