The MINGEO Eurasia Forum: The Path to a Single Mineral Resources Market Will Be Held in Kyrgyzstan on September 11-12, 2024
The MINGEO Eurasia 2024 International Mining and Geological Forum will be held on September 11-12, 2024, on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul in Kyrgyzstan.
This year, the forum is timed to coincide with the most important event in the Eurasian space — the Intergovernmental Council for the Exploration, Use and Protection of Subsoil, which will be held on September 12-13, on the shores of the world’s natural pearl — Lake Issyk-Kul. The activities of the Intergovernmental Council are aimed at implementing policies that contribute to the formation and ensuring the effective operation of the Commonwealth member states. Its main purpose is to implement the goals and objectives of the Agreement on Cooperation in the Study, Exploration and Use of Mineral Resources and the Mining Charter of the States.
Within the framework of the forum “MINGEO Eurasia 2024”, participants will consider new and already traditional approaches to the search, exploration and development of mineral resources, as well as prospects for the development of the mineral resource industry and problems of subsoil use in the largest Eurasian macroregion. During the discussions, practical, technical and economic issues will be discussed. One of the central topics is traditionally the investment attractiveness of the mineral resource industry. After all, on the way to a single raw materials market in Eurasia, many problems will have to be solved regarding the order, directions, mechanisms of its formation, the necessary infrastructure and many others.
The International Mining and Geological Forum “MINGEO Eurasia”, held in 2022, was the first event of such a scale, at which representatives of government and business discussed issues of integrating the raw materials markets of the EAEU member states, as well as other countries and global organizations of this macroregion.
The MINGEO Eurasia Forum is held with the support of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Kyrgyz Geological Service, the State Enterprise Kyrgyzgeology, the Kyrgyz Society of Subsoil Experts (KSSE), the Professional Association of Independent Subsoil Experts (PAISE), the Federal Agency for Subsoil Use and the Society of Russian Subsoil Experts (SSE).
