The 29th International Industrial Exhibition “Metal Expo” has opened in Moscow, where the entire variety of ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy products, modern equipment and technologies will be presented. The exhibition and the business forum timed to coincide with it will be held in pavilions No. 2, 3, 8 of the Expocentre Central Exhibition Complex.
The exhibition area has increased by 50 percent compared to last year, the number of exhibiting companies is more than 800.
Among them are leading metallurgical and engineering companies, as well as manufacturers of metal structures and metal products: Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works, Pipe Metallurgical Company, Severstal, United Metallurgical Company, Novolipetsk Iron and Steel Works, Metalloinvest, EVRAZ, Mechel, Novostal-M, Zagorsk Pipe Plant, TEMPO Group of Companies, Uraltrubprom, Nizhne-Volzhsky Pipe Plant, Ashinsky Metallurgical Plant, MZ Elektrostal, Zlatoust Metallurgical Plant, Aluminum Metallurg Rus, Stupino Metallurgical Company, MMK-METIZ, Severstal-metiz, EZTM, Metallinvest, Belarusian Metallurgical Plant, Akron-Holding, PMH, UMK-Stal, YUGMK, Ruspolimet, VSMPO-AVISMA, KUMZ, KUZOTSM, ChZP, Rosatom metallurgical division, Krasny Oktyabr corporation, Metprom Group of Companies and many others. Delegations of 50-100 specialists will work at the stands of these and other companies, and in total more than 4 thousand stand attendants will be involved in the exposition.

The metallurgy and mechanical engineering of China and other Asian countries will be widely represented at the forum – more than 350 foreign companies in total. Equipment manufacturers from more than ten countries, including enterprises from Turkey, India, Iran, Italy, Germany, Kazakhstan and China, will present modern equipment, components, as well as a wide range of modern metal products.
It is predicted that Metal Expo 2023 will be visited by about 30 thousand key consumers of metal products from the construction industry, mechanical engineering, aircraft manufacturing, shipbuilding, fuel and energy complex, transport and logistics, metal processing and metal trading companies.
According to the co-chairman of the organizing committee of the metallurgists’ forum, Alexander Romanov, consolidation continues in the industry, mergers and acquisitions, personnel changes in companies, which means there is a pressing need for professional communication. New capacities are being put into operation, companies need to present and promote their new products and services.
New production capacities will compete for victory in the nomination “Main Event of the Year”, and promising types of products – for gold and silver medals of “Metal Expo”. The forum will also include other professional competitions, as well as more than 50 conferences, seminars and “round tables” on all segments of the metallurgical business. Over 29 years, “Metal Expo” has established itself as an effective platform for solving the entire range of issues related to running a metallurgical business.
