MOSCOW, September 19 — RIA Novosti/Prime. Rosprirodnadzor issued positive conclusions of the state environmental review for eight projects of gold mining companies in July-August 2024, according to the agency’s materials.
In July, positive conclusions of the state review were received by:
OOO Druza for the Nevsky Mining and Processing Complex. Quarry. Gold Extraction Plant. Tailings Facility. The company plans to expand the capacity of the mining and processing plant at the Nevskoye gold deposit in the Bodaibo District of the Irkutsk Region from 1.3 million tons to 4.4 million tons of ore per year. The expansion will take place in two stages. With an average feedstock grade of 1.09 g/t gold and 0.95 g/t silver, and an extraction rate of 77.64% gold and 12.1% silver after the first stage of reconstruction (output for processing 2.85 tons of ore per year), the plant should produce 2.41 tons of gold and 330 kg of silver per year; the second – 3.73 tons and 510 kg, respectively. The ore processing scheme at the plant provides for two-stage grinding, gravity and flotation enrichment; hydrometallurgical processing using coal-sorption technology of thickened middlings of gravity and flotation concentrate.
JSC Polyus Aldan for the working project “Reconstruction of the Kuranakh Gold Recovery Plant”. Earlier, Polyus reported that it plans to increase the capacity of the Kuranakh plant for primary processing of mineral raw materials to 7.5 million tons per year by 2025.
Polyus Krasnoyarsk JSC for the project “Vostochny Quarry. Development of reserves of the Olimpiadinskoye deposit below the “minus” 60 m horizon”.
GDK Baimskaya LLC for the “Peschanka copper deposit project. Waste management complex”.
In August, the state expert review approved the projects:
Omolonskaya ZRK LLC (part of Polymetal) for the project “Development of reserves of the Nevenrekan deposit using a combined method. Mining and transport part. 1st stage”;
Polyus Krasnoyarsk JSC for “Construction of ZIF-5 for processing ore from the Blagovatnoye deposit with a capacity of 8.3 million tons per year. Ash and slag dump of TPP-2”;
PJSC Yuzhuralzoloto GK (UGK) on the “Svetlinskaya ZIF Tailings Storage Facility”.
PJSC Yuzhuralzoloto GK on the project “Reconstruction of the production sites of JSC Kommunarovsky Rudnik in the Shirinsky District of the Republic of Khakassia. Mining operations site”.
