MOSCOW, July 15. /TASS/. The metallurgical industry is of strategic importance for Russia, including for equipping the army and further growth of the national economy, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at an event dedicated to Metallurgist Day.
“Your difficult work, which requires professionalism, fortitude and hardening, rightfully enjoys well-deserved respect and honor. We are proud of your achievements, your significant contribution to the development of domestic metallurgy, which is, of course, of strategic importance for our entire country, for increasing its industrial potential, implementing large infrastructure projects, equipping the army and navy – that is, for the further growth of the national economy, reliable provision of defense and security of the Motherland,” he said.
