The deposit’s balance and off-balance reserves amount to 115 kg of precious metal.
On June 28, Lenzoloto JSC won the auction for the right to develop the Dogaldyn placer. The deposit is located in the main gold mining area of the Irkutsk Region – Bodaibo.
As follows from the auction documentation, the initial bid price was 7.891 million rubles. The final payment, during the auction, increased to 60.766 million rubles. In addition to Lenzoloto, two subsoil users took part in the auction: the Lena Prospectors’ Artel and the Grand-Invest company.
Under the license, Lenzoloto will conduct geological exploration and mining at the site; the license is valid for 25 years. As of January 1, 2022, the State Balance of Minerals for the deposit accounted for 115 kg of balance and off-balance reserves. The estimated resources are 166 kg of gold.
The Dogaldyn deposit is located in the Bodaibo district of the Irkutsk region, the area of the site is 3.49 sq. km. The deposit is located 35 km north-east of the city of Bodaibo in a straight line and is connected to it by a 60 km long dirt road.
