XII All-Russian Scientific and Practical Seminar named after G.S. Vakhromeev and Yu.A. Davydenko
“Modern methods of prospecting, exploration and protection of mineral resources”
The main objectives of the event:
— Demonstration of the latest achievements in geophysics, geoecology, geological and geochemical methods and data processing technologies;
– Exchange of experience between representatives of science and industry;
— Establishment of professional and scientific contacts.
The seminar is intended to create a platform for constructive informal dialogue between specialists from different geological fields.
Seminar program:
On the first day, participants will have an excursion to the Limnological Museum in the village of Listvyanka. The plenary session (Icebreaker plenary session) will be held at the recreation center of IRNTU “Polytechnic”, picturesquely located on the shore of the Irkutsk reservoir. The program also provides an introduction to hydrochemical monitoring methods — yacht trips will be organized for participants.
Dates: May 18-24, 2026.
Venue: Irkutsk region, Olkhon district. The seminar will be held on the basis of the practices of the Chernorud IRNTU, located near the shore of Lake Baikal.
Habitation:
The participants will be accommodated in cozy cabins at the Chernorud base (capacity — from 2 to 4 people).
