The 11th International Conference “Minerals of the World Ocean” is being held to discuss new results in the study and development of the mineral resources of the World Ocean: hydrothermal sulfides and ferromanganese crusts and nodules, as well as to highlight the environmental, technological, economic and legal aspects of current marine exploration and future mining operations.
Registration is open until April 15, 2025.
The conference program includes 4 sections:
Hydrothermal polymetallic sulphides and the geological structure of COX
Ferromanganese mineralization in the ocean
Technological aspects of the development of ocean mineral resources
Economic, legal and environmental aspects of the development of ocean mineral resources

Form of the event: face-to-face and online
Form of participation: oral (15 min) or a poster presentation.
Participation fee: full—time participation – 10 thousand rubles, correspondence participation and students – free of charge.
Following the results of the conference, a collection of materials will be prepared based on the abstracts of the reports with an ISBN assignment. The collection will be indexed in the RSCI. An electronic version of the collection will also be available on the conference website.
