XV International Scientific and Practical Conference “Geology, forecasting, prospecting and evaluation of diamond, precious and non-ferrous metal deposits”
The event will be held in Moscow at the TsNIGRI Federal State Budgetary Institution from April 21 to 24.
The XV International Scientific and Practical Conference “Geology, Forecasting, prospecting and evaluation of diamond, precious and non-ferrous metals deposits” is one of the few representative industry platforms in Russia. The event traditionally gathers representatives of scientific and industrial organizations to discuss the most pressing issues of geology and subsoil use.
The conference is supported by the Federal Agency for Subsoil Use (Rosnedra), the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Russian Geological Society and the Association of Geological Organizations. The Chairman of the Organizing Committee is Oleg Vladimirovich Kazanov, Head of Rosnedra.
The participants will present reports and discuss a wide range of issues related to the geology of diamonds, precious and non-ferrous metals:
— Minerageny and geological structure of the ABCM deposits
— Priority areas of forecasting and prospecting work
— Promising facilities for conducting geological exploration at various stages
— Experience in conducting exploration at sites of distributed and undistributed subsurface
resources — Scientific and methodological foundations for forecasting, prospecting and evaluating deposits
— Creation and application of complex deposit models
— Innovative geophysical, geochemical and remote exploration methods
— Mineralogical and geochemical features of deposit formation
The organizers offer flexible working formats: a plenary session, oral and poster presentations on thematic sections, as well as online presentations for nonresident participants.
A collection of abstracts will be published at the end of the conference. An important advantage for the authors is that the collection will be placed in the eLibrary system (RSCI), which will ensure the indexing of materials and the improvement of scientometric indicators. According to the decision of the Organizing Committee, the best reports will be recommended for publication in the journals “Ores and Metals” and “Domestic Geology”, which are included in the list of the Higher Attestation Commission.
