On July 20, Magadan will host the “Prospector’s Luck” as part of the VIII Gold Festival. 60 participants will compete in gold panning.
The competition is held at a site located at the mouth of the Dukcha River, in the Gornyak recreation area within the city of Magadan, the Dyukcha ethnic culture park.
Applicants for participation in the competition must submit an application between June 17, 2024 and July 5, 2024
(20:00 Magadan time).
All participants in the competition will be awarded diplomas. The winners of the competition will be awarded a cash prize.
The total prize fund for the gold panning competition in 2024
is 2,000,000 rubles: 1st place – 1,000,000 rubles, 2nd place – 700,000 rubles, 3rd place
– 300,000 rubles.
