Rosprirodnadzor of the Russian Federation, on behalf of the federal government, will conduct an inspection of 133 companies engaged in the extraction of precious metals by October 31, 2024.
In particular, according to the department, a total of 197 alluvial gold sites in 25 constituent entities of the Russian Federation are to be inspected.
It is specified that as of June 10, inspections have been conducted at five subsoil sites in the Novosibirsk Region, Bashkiria, Perm and Primorsky Krai. As a result, 47 violations of legal requirements were identified. In particular, in Primorsky Krai, it was established that the company OOO Prospector carried out work without observing control over the condition of hydraulic structures, as a result of which the quarry field was flooded. The subsoil user also carried out work without observing the technology for the extraction of minerals. In addition, it was established that the use of a water body is carried out without the presence of permits.
The identified violations are ordered to be eliminated. Administrative measures will be taken against violators in accordance with the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation.
