Moscow. May 21. INTERFAX.RU – The United Kingdom has added aluminum to the list of products that are prohibited from being imported into the country, the British legal portal Global Sanctions reported on Tuesday.
“To restrict the import of aluminum and related services from Belarus,” the report says.
It is specified that sanctions have also been imposed on financial and brokerage services for the supply of aluminum from Belarus.
In June 2023, the United Kingdom imposed sanctions against Belarus, blocking, in particular, the import of gold, cement, timber and rubber from the republic. Later, the sanctions list was expanded by introducing restrictive measures against Belarusian enterprises and citizens.
