A distinctive feature of the crusher is the absence of rigid kinematic connections between the cones, which allows for a multiple increase in the frequency of cone oscillations and crushing force, resulting in high productivity and crushing degree (up to 20). The use of an innovative crushing cone drive in the crusher also determines such features of the KID as the ability to work “under a blockage”, easy start-up under load, no overloads or failure of the crusher when non-crushable bodies hit it, as well as the ability to install the machine on light, welded structures (due to the presence of a soft shock absorber system).
