Interregional Special Equipment Exchange sums up the results in Moscow, presenting new Chinese special equipment
The sixth Interregional Special Equipment Exchange “Moscow (Russia) – Beijing (China)” took place at the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The first exchange took place in November last year, marking the beginning of direct contacts between the supplier and the customer. During the year, five interregional exchanges were held in the regions of Russia, giving rise to active sales and strengthening the positions of Russian dealers in the market of special equipment. However, one of the main objectives of the event is to inform about bona fide participants in the market of special equipment and to assist in due diligence activities.
The organizers were: The trade and industrial way “Metallurgy. Mechanical engineering. Metalloobrabotka” with the support of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry Union, the SRO Association “SPETSAVTOPROM”, the Association “Russian Automobile Dealers”, NP “LEASING UNION”, the GREENWOOD Business Park, the United Leasing Association, the Association of International Automobile Carriers and the Friends of China Club.
Vladislav Mishchenko, Vice President for International and Interregional Activities of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry Union, in his welcoming speech, informed about the work of the Competence Center for China at the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which provides a wide range of services in the field of foreign economic activity and invited active cooperation in this direction.
Evgeny Tsarev, Co–Chairman of the Council, Director of NP LEASING UNION, Deputy Chairman of the Subcommittee of the RF CCI on Leasing, welcomed the participants and spoke about the main trends in the development of international leasing in modern conditions.
Avito Special Equipment Key Account Manager David Papazyan made a presentation on “The role of online platforms in the promotion and sale of special equipment.” The speaker described Avito today, about more than 900 verified sellers – dealers of special equipment and an increase in the market share of new special equipment on Avito, currently the share of Chinese brands is 63%. The top regions in terms of the number of offers is Moscow, the second place is occupied by the Republic of Tatarstan.
Alexey Lagunov, Sales Director of Special Equipment and commercial vehicles at GREENWOOD, presented MTVC Greenwood as a platform for supporting and developing Chinese business in accordance with the priorities of the economic course of China and Russia, providing full support to Chinese companies entering the Russian market. The speaker noted that the trade turnover between Russia and China for 9 months of 2024 amounted to $202.2 billion.
The information portal “Mining Exchange” of the mining industry was presented by the General Director Alexander Dadashyan. “The Mining Exchange information portal is designed as a convenient, useful and information-rich platform for subsoil users,” the speaker said. He also noted the main trends in the mining industry market.
Oleg Moskovsky, Moderator of the exchange, Member of the Board and Council of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, President of the Interregional Exchange of Special Equipment “Moscow (Russia) – Beijing (China)”, made a report: “Goals and objectives of the Interregional Exchange of Special Equipment “Moscow (Russia) – Beijing (China)”. “The main task of the Exchange is to increase sales of Chinese-made suppliers of special equipment and trucks, but we must not forget about the support of the domestic manufacturer. The development of cooperation between the two countries will make it possible to build a reliable partnership at home and abroad. We pay special attention to the development of the Register of recommended suppliers of the Exchange in order to ensure the reliability of the transaction.”
The presentation was continued by the supplier companies included in the Register of recommended suppliers of the Exchange.
Evgeny Popkov, a representative of Trakavtoservice, presented a range of Shacman and Sitrak brands. Yuri Bobrovsky, Development Director of the exclusive distributor of Tavol products, spoke about the company’s capabilities, presenting a wide range of equipment for any task: forklifts and front loaders, as well as agricultural and construction equipment.
Mikhail Martianov, a representative of InterLine Auto LLC, spoke about direct deliveries from China and an integrated approach to the sale and maintenance of special equipment. “Interline has been one of the leading companies in the market of special equipment since 2007 in the field of supply, sale, warranty service of trucks from China,” Mikhail Martianov said. In 2023, the company sold more than 2,000 units of trucks and the base has more than 4 thousand regular customers.
The BOLSHEGRUZ Group of Companies was represented by Mikhail Korolev, Deputy General Director for Financial Affairs. The company has demonstration sites of equipment in St. Petersburg and other cities of the Russian Federation, sales offices in 6 cities of the Russian Federation, and is also building a Shacman dealership on 6000 square meters in St. Petersburg. Alexey Spivak, Head of Special Equipment at BOLSHEGRUZ SERVICE SPB LLC, presented several types of attachments based on the Shacman chassis and spoke about cooperation with real estate developers.
Tatyana Kainova, Director of Key Account Management at Red&Yellow, made a presentation on the topic: “RED&Yellow Company, as an independent expert in the field of special equipment.” The speaker spoke about working with key brands of special equipment such as Lonking, Shanmon, Hengte, Knack Wesson, Hzm and others and described the main problems faced by the customer.
Mikhail Militsa, a representative of Smolmash LLC, spoke about the production of combined road vehicles and utility equipment. Since 2006, the Smolmash plant has been a manufacturer and supplier of road construction, municipal and special equipment, as well as spare parts for enterprises of the road industry and housing and communal services in Russia and CIS countries. The company is located in Smolensk and is part of the Union of Manufacturers of Road Construction, municipal, ground airfield equipment of the SRO “SPETSAVTOPROM”, the products are included in the register of industrial products manufactured in Russia.
The final presentation on the comprehensive solution and expertise was a report by Maxim Nechaev, Director of Business Development at KOMREX LLC. The company increases the efficiency of special equipment operation by reducing costs and increasing productivity. The mission of the company is to ensure the minimum cost of operation of equipment, taking into account all factors affecting costs, including the choice of brand, standard sizes and number of machines, their service life, methods of replacement and renewal of the fleet.
The key stage of the event was the holding of “Supplier – Customer” negotiations.
